Let your child or teenager highlight how to stay safe on the roads with large trucks and buses. Their creativity and talent could earn top honors in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration annual road safety art contest.
Students must be in the grade categories below as of June 10, 2023. For example, a student who is completing 5th grade in June would be part of Category 2.
· Category 1: Grades K–2
· Category 2: Grades 3–5
· Category 3: Grades 6–8
· Category 4: Grades 9–12
All submissions must adhere to the contest rules found in the entry form. Submissions can be
· Hand-Drawn Art: Crayon, colored pencil, marker, paint, etc.
· Digital Art: Graphic design, digital drawing, etc.
· Craft: Handmade items such as a collage, diorama, etc.
· Video: Spoken message, song, dance, skit, etc. (No more than 30 seconds long.)
· Photo: Captured with phone or digital camera
Artwork must include imagery or reference to large trucks/or buses. It must be an original submission primarily generated by the student’s own creativity and concept. Submission cannot include any copyrighted logos or brands.
To enter, artwork and an entry form must be submitted before June 10, 2023. The top artwork in each category will be announced on the Our Roads, Our Safety Facbeook page in Fall of 2023.
